Rajinder K Saini has over 13 years of experience in proposal writing and management. From 2021 to present, they have been working as a Proposal Manager for IP Network Solutions, where their responsibilities include conducting debrief analysis, executing end-to-end proposal response development processes, developing solutions, composing responses, producing graphics, performing need analysis, coordinating and reviewing proposal input, and developing proposal compliance matrix.

From 2020 to 2021, they were a Proposal Manager for Global PPE Inc in Virginia, US, where their responsibilities included post award analysis, executing end-to-end proposal response development processes, developing solutions, composing responses, coordinating with the graphics team, ensuring prospect pain points/goals are incorporated into RFX responses, coordinating and reviewing proposal input, coaching junior compliance personnel, managing document template, and developing proposal compliance matrix.

From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Proposal Writer for an independent consultant, where they drafted over 100 business proposals for various organizations across various sectors.

From 2008 to 2016, they worked for PGSC, Department of Science & Technology, where they held two roles: Senior Research Fellow and Project Associate/Coordinator. As Senior Research Fellow, their responsibilities included providing support to proposal response development submission, planning, document production and delivery of completed proposals, facilitating coordination for project implementation tasks, and developing project plans and execution approach. As Project Associate/Coordinator, their responsibilities included setting up regional innovation science hubs for innovators, organizing and participating in relevant meetings, conferences, workshops, and seminars, organizing astronomical events for sky gazers, investigating scientific instruments, generating ideas for the development of scientific exhibits, planning and executing marketing and business development, interfacing with school/college authorities, conducting research, analyzing data, and designing and implementing outreach strategies.

Rajinder K Saini obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Punjabi University PTA in 2008. Rajinder K also holds certifications in Astronomy Olympiad Exposure Camp from Homi Bhava Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, International Training programme on Leadership for Women Scientists & Technologists from Department of Science & Technology,New Delhi, Indo-US Forum and COACH, and Science Journalism from PGSC,Department of Science & Technology.
