Alex Straffen, MBA, is a Senior Project Manager at Integrated Precision Systems, where they started in July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at BWX Technologies, Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Alex furthered their education at The University of Akron, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they also obtained certifications as an Internal & External Auditor for ISO 9001:2008 and 13485:2003 from the International Organization for Standardization in June 2015 and became a CMfgT (Certified Manufacturing Technologist) through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers - Student Chapter 079 in July 2017.

Continuing their professional development, Alex pursued a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Project Management at the University of Southern Indiana from 2018 to 2020. Simultaneously, they earned an associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Cuyahoga Community College in 2017. Alex's education journey has provided him with a strong foundation in marketing, manufacturing engineering, project management, and liberal arts and sciences.
