Seema Thakore Meloni

Seema Thakore Meloni is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and real-world evidence (RWE). Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Epidemiology & RWE at Ipsen since October 2021, Seema is responsible for establishing and scaling up RWE capabilities across the company while conducting high-impact studies and collaborating with regulatory and R&D teams. Previous roles include Director of RWE at bluebird bio overseeing strategy development for cerebral adenoleukodystrophy, Visiting Scientist and Research Scientist at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health contributing to outcomes research, Senior Scientist at Policy Analysis Inc. providing HEOR support, and Lecturer at Northeastern University teaching courses on HIV. Seema holds a PhD in Molecular Epidemiology, Immunology & Infectious Diseases from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an MPH in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from Yale School of Public Health.
