Angela Jackson

Angela Jackson has had a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies. Angela currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Ipswich City Council, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at BHP, including Head of Corporate Global Technology from May 2022 to May 2023, Head of Project Delivery Group Technology from May 2019 to May 2022, Manager Digital Experience Platforms from November 2017 to May 2019, and Lead Collaboration Platforms from January 2017 to May 2019. Earlier in their career, Angela worked at Aurizon as a Principal Online Architect from November 2011 to January 2017 and as a SharePoint Technical Business Analyst from 2008 to 2011. Angela also worked at Suncorp as a Business Analyst in 2008 and at Queensland Rail as a Portal Administrator from 2004 to 2008.

Angela Jackson completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Information Technology from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1999 and 2003. Angela went on to pursue an Executive MBA from QUT, starting in 2022 and expected to complete in 2023.
