Kelvin Hui began their work experience in 1991 as a Software Engineer at Valmet Automation (USA) Inc., where they designed and developed software for SCADA applications. Kelvin then joined Dow Jones Telerate in 1993 as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they maintained the Dow Jones Telerate Trading Room Systems (TTRS) and provided support to clients in Houston. In 2011, they joined PetraSoft Consulting as a Senior Software Architect, focusing on an oil well analysis and visualization application. Most recently, Kelvin worked at IPT Global, LLC as a Principal Software Engineer and later as the Lead Software Engineer, leading a team to design and develop applications aligned with the company's vision.
Kelvin Hui began their education in 1985 at the University of Houston, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Kelvin continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991.
