Andres Z Diaz

Andres Z Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Andres Z began their career as an Associate Attorney at Emory & Associates from 1992 to 1994. Andres Z then joined KPMG LLP in 1996 as an Auditor, specializing in financial audit and intellectual property commercialization services. After working at KPMG for five years, they transitioned to IPValue in 2001. At IPValue, Andres held various roles, including Manager of Business and Market Research, where they prepared licensing meeting presentations and developed patent license valuations. Andres Z also served as the Director of Business & Market Research, responsible for monetizing a large portfolio of display-related patents and managing a team of technologists, patent attorneys, and licensing executives. Throughout their career, Andres has demonstrated expertise in patent licensing, patent portfolio management, market research, and corporate strategy.

Andres Z Diaz holds a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). Andres Z also has a post-baccalaureate degree in Accounting from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College. In addition to their education, Diaz has obtained several certifications including being an Attorney from the Oregon State Bar, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy.
