Nathaniel Thurston

Nathaniel Thurston has extensive experience in software engineering and quantitative analysis, with a career spanning over two decades. As the Founder of Ipvive eiOS, Inc. since October 2018, and a Researcher at ipvive, inc. since 2014, Nathaniel has focused on innovative technology solutions. Prior roles include a Software Engineer at Google, where Nathaniel worked on Core Search, and Managing Director at Þingið ehf, where development of automatic stock trading algorithms took place. Additionally, positions at Hudson River Trading LLC and Predictive Networks involved quantitative analysis and software architecture, respectively. Nathaniel began a career in technology as a Programmer at Looking Glass Technologies, contributing to AI and simulation systems for video games, and gained early experience as an Apprentice at The Geometry Center. Nathaniel holds a BA in Mathematics from Reed College and pursued a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley.
