Lisa Henderson has over 16 years of work experience, starting as an Inside Sales Representative at US Steel for a year and then as a Server & Bartender at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar (2005-2009). Lisa continued as a Special Events Coordinator (Contract) at TORONTO EAST GENERAL HOSPITAL before joining Tiffany & Co. as Sales for two years. Later, they became an Account Manager and Technical Recruiter at TEKsystems, Business Development Manager at Corporate Traveller Canada, and a Business Development & Account Manager at Staffworks. In 2016, they became the Director of Business Development at Vitamin T. From 2017-2023, they worked at IWG plc as an Area Sales Manager, Team Lead and then as Director of Sales - Canada at iQ Offices from June 2023 onwards.

Lisa Henderson started their education at M.M. Robinson High School, where they completed an OAC (Grade 13) Advanced Graduate program, although the start and end year are unknown. Later, they pursued a Diploma in Marketing Management from Sheridan College between 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Lisa earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Marketing & Finance concentration at Ryerson University between the years of 2006 and 2008. To further advance their education, Lisa attended Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2008 for a short period to attain a BComm degree in Marketing & Finance.
