Heather Hayes

Heather Hayes, PhD, is a seasoned science writer and editor with extensive expertise in scientific communication. Currently serving as a Science Writer at IQ Solutions since November 2022, Hayes provides writing and support to FNIH clients and attends scientific committee meetings to produce technical summaries. Additionally, Hayes works as a Freelance Editor for both Sciworks and Charlesworth Author Services, and has held the position of Senior Editor at AJE - American Journal Experts since 2010. Previous roles include Senior Scientist at Zen-Bio, Inc., and Senior Research Associate and Post Doctoral Associate at Duke University Medical Center. Hayes earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University.
