Sarah Byrnes, M.A. has a diverse work experience. Sarah began their career as an Advertising Professional and Systems Administrator at The Washington Post, where they supported various business functions and coordinated joint advertising efforts with online partners. Sarah then worked at Bath & Body Works as a Customer Sales Lead, responsible for coaching retail sales associates and executing visual standards. Currently, Sarah is the Project Director of Health and Regulatory Communications at IQ Solutions, managing health communications and education efforts for Federal health agencies, particularly the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products. Sarah'sresponsibilities include strategic planning, research, evaluation, and creative services.

Sarah Byrnes, M.A. obtained their Masters degree in Communication from The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors degree in Journalism & Spanish Literature from the University of Arizona, completing their studies from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their degrees, Sarah Byrnes has also obtained several certifications. Sarah completed the Human Subjects Research – Social-Behavioral-Educational Refresher 2 from the CITI Program in March 2023. In 2019, they completed a certification in Data Analytics from Cornell University. Sarah Byrnes also completed the Human Subjects Research – Social-Behavioral-Educational Refresher 1 from the CITI Program in July 2021.
