Matthew Loughlin

Matthew Loughlin has a diverse work experience in the construction and accommodation industry. Matthew is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at iQ Student Accommodation since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Group Development Director at Unite Students from October 2019 to April 2022. Matthew also held the position of Managing Director (London Partnerships) at Bellway Homes from June 2018 to October 2019. Before that, they worked as an Equity Director at K2 Consultancy from July 2007 to June 2018. Matthew had earlier served as the Director at pcm Ltd from April 1999 to June 2007 and Director at Knowledge Online Ltd from 2004 to 2006. Matthew started their career as a Commercial/Project Manager at Pettifer Construction Management (PCM) Ltd from May 1993 to March 1999 and as a Quantity Surveyor at Pettifer Construction from April 1990 to April 1993.

Matthew Loughlin completed the Oxford Real Estate Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2023. Matthew also obtained a degree in Construction from the University of Gloucestershire between 1985 and 1992.
