Ewen McLay

Ewen McLay currently serves as the Director of Government Services at Iqarus, a subsidiary of the International SOS Group, where expertise is applied in providing medical and travel security services in challenging environments since July 2017. Previously, Ewen held the position of General Manager for Africa and the Middle East in Government Services at International SOS from September 2013 to July 2017. Ewen's military experience includes commanding a British Army Brigade in Germany and Afghanistan and leading the Strategic Advisory Team for ISAF. Ewen's extensive background in military operations and leadership also encompasses roles such as Deputy Chief of Staff in the UK Division and Commanding Officer of UK military engineering support in Germany. Academically, Ewen holds an MSc in Defence Technology from Cranfield University and a BSc Eng (Hons) from the University of Strathclyde, along with advanced military training from the UK Defence Academy.
