Ivan Takmakov

Ivan Takmakov is a Senior Quantum Engineer at IQM Quantum Computers, with experience in the field since March 2022. Previously, Ivan held the position of Research Associate at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from August 2017 to April 2022, focusing on superconducting quantum devices, specifically the readout of superconducting qubits and the development of Josephson parametric amplifiers. Earlier roles include Research Assistant positions at both KIT and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), where responsibilities included design, fabrication, and characterization of amplifiers. Ivan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from KIT, a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Mathematics and Physics, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Mathematics and Physics, both from MIPT.
