Alex MacLellan

Alex Maclellan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in rope access and UAV operations. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Highland Access Ltd since September 2021, Alex has also held the position of Rope Access Supervisor at Alticlimb AB since August 2019. Alex's career includes a longstanding role as a Rope Access Technician with IRATA International, alongside various UAV operator positions, including work with Rigmar Group, Air Tech Integrity Limited, and Drone Inspect Services, specializing in inspections of offshore turbines and windfarm structures across Europe. Previous experience encompasses supervising complex blade repair campaigns with Rope Access Sverige AB and undertaking geo-technical projects throughout the UK with QTS Group and others. Education was completed at Mallaig High School.
