Erik Birkhoff

Erik Birkhoff is an experienced professional in the rope access and safety sector, currently serving as an Assessor, Auditor, and Instructor at IRATA International since February 2005, where responsibilities include conducting assessments and delivering training at all levels. Previously, Erik worked as an HSEQ Advisor and IRATA Technical Authority at Hertel Access Solutions from February 2012 to February 2020, focusing on auditing, incident analysis, and safety management. Erik holds a Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor certification from IRATA International and has obtained qualifications in safety consulting, lead auditing for ISO 9001, and higher safety consultancy.
