Michael Knight

Michael Knight is an experienced professional in rope access and operations management with a comprehensive background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Rope Access Technical Authority at MISTRAS Group, Inc. since January 2022, Michael also holds a position as an IRATA Assessor/Auditor with IRATA International since September 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Operations Manager at REMOTE ACCESS TECHNOLOGY, INC., where responsibilities encompassed sales, estimating, and project management in the eastern United States and Trinidad & Tobago, along with ensuring safety through the implementation of Integrated Management Systems. Earlier positions involved supervisory and inspection roles in both offshore oil and gas sectors and rope access operations across North America and Europe. Michael began a career in the Canadian Armed Forces, attaining the rank of Corporal and serving as a United Nations Peacekeeper.
