Aina Segues

Aina Segués is an experienced researcher currently serving as an Innovation Officer at IRB Barcelona since September 2023. Prior to this role, Aina completed a PhD as a candidate at Universiteit Utrecht from March 2019 to June 2023, focusing on antibody-based approaches to modulate the immune system within the Tumor Treg Targeting ITN. Aina also held positions as an Early Stage Researcher at both The University of Edinburgh and Aduro Biotech Europe, developing and characterizing novel antibodies targeting TNFR2. Additional experience includes a Junior Research position at LEITAT Technological Center, internships at multiple esteemed institutions, and relevant education, culminating in a Master's degree in Research, Development, and Control of Medications from Universitat de Barcelona and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universitat de Lleida.
