Jessica Guerra

Jessica Guerra is a highly skilled researcher and project leader with extensive experience in molecular biology and virology. Currently serving as a Project Leader at the IRB | Institute for Research in Biomedicine since November 2020, Jessica previously held positions as a Research Project Manager at IGH, CNRS UMR9002 and Université de Genève, where responsibilities included overseeing research projects, experimental design, and data analysis. Jessica has contributed to significant research on the cGAS-STING pathway's implications in chronic inflammation and cancer, alongside developing CRISPR/Cas9 tools. An accomplished author, Jessica has published multiple scientific articles and is a recipient of a three-year postdoctoral fellowship from the National Association for Research on AIDS. Jessica holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Geneva, as well as a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree from the University of Bologna.
