Arjan Ligthart

Arjan Ligthart began their work experience in 1994 as a Software Engineer at Philips Research. Arjan then worked as a Software Engineer at Philips Digital Videocommunication Systems from 1996 to 1998. From 1998 to 1999, they were a Software Engineer at AND Identification. Arjan then joined the Royal Dutch Navy as a Software Engineer from 1999 to 2000. Arjan Ligthart worked as a Software Engineer at ING from 2000 to 2001 and as a Software Architect at Zurich Insurance from 2001 to 2002. Arjan returned to the Royal Dutch Navy as a Software Engineer from 2002 to 2003. Arjan Ligthart then joined Irdeto in 2004, where they held several roles including Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Project Manager. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Test Automation Engineer and Scrum Master at Irdeto. Arjan then became a Software Configuration Master from 2010 to 2013. Arjan Ligthart transitioned to the role of Scrum Master at Irdeto from 2013 to 2016, where they introduced DevOps skills and managed a cross-functional scrum team. Finally, they became a DevOps Engineer at Irdeto in 2016, where they dockerized the solution and set up automated pipelines and CI/CD with zero-down time blue-green deployments to AWS EC2.

Arjan Ligthart completed a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Arjan studied at the university from 1990 to 1994.
