Lucas Catranis

Director - Connected Health Cybersecurity at Irdeto

Lucas Catranis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lucas began their career as a Sales Engineer at Skyway Partners, Inc. in 1998. In 2003, they co-founded Babylon Telecommunications, Inc. and served as President and CTO until 2013. At Babylon Telecommunications, they were responsible for the technical roadmap and delivery of IP connectivity and communications products. Lucas also handled business development with US DoD, DoS, and multinational defense contractors. Lucas joined Irdeto in 2013 as the Service Delivery Manager of CyberSecurity Services. In 2018, Lucas took on the role of Senior Leadership Team Associate, serving as the chief of staff to the CEO and broader leadership team. Their responsibilities included the development of global strategy and coordinating business and operations reviews. Most recently, Lucas became the Product Director of Connected Health Cybersecurity at Irdeto, where they are currently employed.

Lucas Catranis attended Penn State University from 2002 to 2007, where they studied History. Lucas also obtained various additional certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals" from LinkedIn in December 2021, "Certified Wireless Network Administrator" from Certified Wireless Network Professional, LLC in 2013, "Cisco Certified Design Associate" and "Cisco Certified Network Professional" from Cisco Systems, Inc. in 2013, and "ITIL Foundations V3" from EXIN in 2013.
