Matej Puhan

Matej Puhan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matej started their career as the Head of Office at Interteam in 2009 and later joined Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije - Slovenian Chamber of Industry and Commerce as an Advisor for foreign markets in 2010. In the same year, they also became a Key Account Manager at ELTI, where they worked until 2017.

In 2015, Matej became a Co-Owner of Sconnected, a position they held until 2019. Matej then joined Witsports LLC as the COO and Co-Owner in 2016 and continued in that role until 2023. At the same time, they worked as a Sales Director at Castoola from 2019 until 2023, after initially starting at the company as a Business Development Manager in 2017.

In 2020, Matej transitioned to Euroleague Basketball, taking up the role of Euroleague Delegate. Matej'smost recent position is as a Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe at Irdeto, starting in August 2023.

Matej Puhan completed their EBI Master degree in Sports management and marketing from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia in the year 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Management and organization, Univ. dipl. ekon., from the University of Ljubljana from 2002 to 2008. In 2006, they also attended Universidad de León, where the details of the degree attained are unknown.
