Caroline Ochieng

Caroline Ochieng is a seasoned professional in energy access policy and sustainable finance with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Program Officer for Energy Access Policy at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Caroline has previously held significant roles including Finance Specialist for Clean Cooking at Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and Energy Specialist at The World Bank Group. A rigorous academic background includes a Ph.D. in Public Health and Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master’s in Leadership in Sustainable Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Caroline's career also features roles at notable institutions such as the Stockholm Environment Institute and ActionAid Kenya, along with teaching positions at Kenyatta University.
