Gondia S. Seck

Gondia S. SECK currently serves as a Programme Officer and Team Lead for Socio-economic Modelling and Analysis at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) since January 2022. Prior to this role, Gondia worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at IRIS, where coordination of annual student projects was a key responsibility, and as a Senior Energy Researcher at IFP Energies nouvelles, focusing on economics and environmental evaluation. Experience includes positions with the Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et de la Relance, the European Commission, and various roles at EDF. Gondia holds a PhD in Energy Economics and advanced degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Chemistry & Physics from Mines Paris - PSL, along with a rigorous preparatory education at Lycée Jacques Decour.
