Marko Emersic

Marko Emersic is an experienced professional in project management and international relations, currently serving as the IRENA Bonn Facility Manager at the International Renewable Energy Agency since February 2020. Prior to this role, Marko held positions including Operations Manager at SIRVA Worldwide Relocation & Moving, and was involved in various capacities at IRENA and UNIDO, focusing on project coordination, logistics, and stakeholder engagement. Marko's academic background includes a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Diplomatische Akademie Wien and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Information Systems from Univerza v Mariboru. Additionally, Marko has experience in diplomatic roles during the EU Presidency at both the Embassy of Slovenia and the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN in Vienna.
