Despoina Antypa

Despoina Antypa is a seasoned professional specializing in energy efficiency and sustainability, currently serving as a Research Associate at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Sustainability Expert at IRES since April 2021, and as a Research Associate at the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) from March 2011 to March 2021, focusing on project management, impact assessment, and communication management for various EU and national projects. Despoina also worked as an Energy Engineer at Interphoton Group from May 2009 to March 2011, where responsibilities included project design, performance monitoring, and quality assurance. Early in the career, Despoina served as a Chemical Engineer at the National Technical University of Athens. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh and a combined BS and MSc in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
