Ridwaan Kharva

Ridwaan Kharva has a diverse work experience in the financial markets industry. Ridwaan started their career as a Support Consultant at CQS Technology Holdings in 2002 and worked there until 2005. In 2005, they joined Iress where they held various roles such as Support Team Lead, Trading Business Analyst, and Trading Business Owner. Ridwaan then moved on to become the Head of Trading Solutions and later the Head of Product for the Financial Markets division of Iress South Africa. Currently, Ridwaan holds the position of Managing Director for Iress SA Trading & Market Data. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for product development, implementation, and collaboration between business and technology functions.

Ridwaan Kharva completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Australia between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they earned a BCom Honours degree in Informatics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2003-2004, and a BCom degree in Informatics from the University of Pretoria in 1999-2001. In addition to their formal education, Ridwaan obtained various certifications including Certified SCRUM Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in 2012 and the Registered Persons Examination (RPE) - Equity Market from the South African Institute of Financial Markets in 2009. Ridwaan also completed multiple courses on LinkedIn related to leadership, communication, and professional development in 2016.
