Jasmine Hu

Jasmine Hu, PhD, currently holds the position of Senior Research Systems Engineer at iRhythm Technologies, Inc. since November 2023. Jasmine's prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, where significant contributions involved developing a MATLAB simulation framework for multi-resolution MRI of hyperpolarized pyruvate and kinetic modeling of hyperpolarized pyruvate metabolism in the human brain. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Jasmine designed programming lessons for master's students lacking prior experience. Additionally, during a Data Science Internship at InsightRX, Jasmine evaluated population pharmacokinetic models and contributed to the company codebase. Earlier academic achievements at the University of Washington included filing a patent and publishing a research paper related to optical pH sensing of biofilms. Jasmine earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, along with an Associate of Science from Edmonds College.
