Tom Cornelius

Tom Cornelius serves as the Senior Manager of Test Automation at iRhythm Technologies, Inc., overseeing a team of 13 software development engineers in test (SDETs) focused on building automation tools for the Zio patch medical device. Previously, as Test Engineering Manager at Outreach, Tom established and guided an expansive team of 20 professionals in quality assurance and test engineering, developing a strategic vision for automation frameworks and implementing quality practices that significantly reduced bugs and triage times. Tom also held senior roles at Tableau Software, managing teams responsible for developing customer-facing features and achieving full test case automation, and contributed to various projects at Microsoft, including leadership in testing for Azure DevOps and Dynamics products. With a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Math from Southern Methodist University, Tom has a rich background in engineering and testing methodologies.
