Buck Watia

Buck Watia serves as the Vice President and Head of Product and Corporate Development at Iridia, Inc., since 2023, where leadership focuses on product innovation and commercialization of a platform utilizing programmable molecular technology. Previously, Buck held key positions, including Head of Strategy and Growth for Security Products at Microsoft, overseeing strategic initiatives across Cloud and AI, and Vice President of Business Development at CyberX, which was acquired by Microsoft. Prior experience includes executive roles at Rapid7, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, ArcSight, VeriSign, and iDefense, demonstrating a strong background in business development, strategy, and security. Buck holds executive degrees from MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School, alongside a BBA from Boise State University.
