Michael Kirsch

Michael Kirsch possesses extensive experience in mission planning and orbital analysis, currently serving as the SDA Mission Management Product Owner at Iridium since January 2017. Prior to this role, Kirsch worked at Boeing from November 2006 to January 2017 in similar positions. Academic experience includes roles as Senior Research Assistant and Graduate Research Scholar Assistant at The George Washington University, and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. Kirsch began their career as a Mechanical Lab Technician at Air Techniques. Educational qualifications include a Professional Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The George Washington University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnic University.
