Erik de la Rivière

Erik joined the team in 1998. He is mainly focused on late stage and growth capital investments across Europe, especially in France, with a strong expertise in digital media, software and Internet services.

He is currently supporting companies in France and previously backed 1-2-3 TV, Canal J and MCM (both acq. by Lagardère group), Comfm/Radios.fr (acq. by TDF), Elan Speech (acq. by Acapela), FastBooking (acq. by 3i), Groupe Tectis (acq. by ETMF), Lagardère Active TV (acq. by Lagardère group), Marco Vasco (acq. by Figaro Group), MCI Group (acq. by EMZ and Indigo), ProwebCE (acq. by Edenred), Store Electronic Systems (acq. by LBO France), Teletech, TravelHorizon (acq. by HMC), Vitaminic SpA (IPO on Milan Stock Exchange) and Wild Bunch (acq. by SWB).

Prior to joining the team, Erik was in charge of equity investments in media and entertainment at Banque Worms, in Paris. His responsibilities included the management of a specialized venture capital fund, Media Investissement.

He was also Chairman and CEO of Amaya Films, an audiovisual rights and production company he created and developed before Lagardère group acquired it. In addition, he was Executive Chairman of Voltaire Images, an investment company specialized in the audiovisual technical industries acquired by France Telecom.

He has also been a board member and member of the Investment Committee of Sopromec, a generalist venture capital subsidiary of Banque Worms.

Erik is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris - ESCP School of Management (France).
