Julio Villalta

Julio Villalta has extensive experience in the technology industry, having worked in various roles since 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they were the Co-founder and Vice President at dSCRIBE. From 2000 to 2017, they held various roles at Allstream, including Lead Application Architect, Application Architect, Operations Support Manager, Implementation Manager, and Manager, Business Internet Service Assurance. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at TELUS as Director of Product and Services, IoT and Senior Product Manager (IoT). Since 2022, they have been the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances at IRIS Inc.

Julio Villalta has an extensive education history. Julio attended Ryerson University from 1998 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Business Management and Enterprise Development. In 2004, they earned an ITIL Essentials Certification from Pink Elephant. Additionally, they attended Schulich School of Business - York University in 2003, where they earned a Leadership Through Team Building and Facilitative Leadership Executive Training certifications. Finally, they also earned a Focus: Achieving Your Highest Priorities Executive Training certification from Franklin Covey in 2003.
