Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library
Amanda Hofmann-Handy, Ed.D., serves as the Executive Director of the McClelland Library at the Irish Cultural Center, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this, Amanda was the Chief Executive Officer at the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy from March 2024 to June 2025. Amanda's extensive background in leadership includes a tenure as the Director of Program at Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council from January 2018 to February 2024 and as the Manager of Outdoor Experience and STEM at Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast from August 2015 to December 2017, where innovative programs were developed for a significant number of girls and volunteers. Amanda also held the role of Executive Director at Gull Wings Children's Museum from March 2013 to August 2015, overseeing museum operations and strategic direction. Amanda holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, earned between 2017 and 2021, and has additional educational qualifications from Ashford University, Broward College, and Santa Fe College.
