Fiona Halligan

Fiona Halligan is a Digital Sports Journalist at the Irish Examiner since January 2023, following a tenure as a Temporary Clerical Officer at the Department of Social Protection. Fiona served as Sports Editor for the UL College Newspaper An Focal while studying for a Master of Arts in Journalism at the University of Limerick. Previous experience includes roles at Bank of Ireland, where responsibilities included managing content for the bank's social media and providing excellent customer service. Fiona also has extensive experience as a Physiotherapist across various clinics and has a strong educational background in Physiotherapy, Health Science, and Financial Advice.
