Oisin O'Shaughnessy

Oisin O'Shaughnessy has had extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Oisin began their career at Irish Life as a team member in actuarial reporting. Oisin then worked as an actuarial manager in product pricing before transitioning to the role of protection senior product manager. O'Shaughnessy later became the head of pricing, overseeing pricing and protection strategies. In 2015, they were promoted to head of pricing and protection. In 2017, they joined Irish Life Corporate Business as the head of finance and actuarial, and eventually became the managing director in August 2020.

Oisin O'Shaughnessy has a Diploma in Leadership from the Irish Management Institute, which was obtained in 2015. Prior to that, in 2003, they became a Qualified Actuary from the Institute of Actuaries. Before becoming a qualified actuary, O'Shaughnessy completed a Bachelor of Actuarial & Financial Studies in Actuarial Science at University College Dublin from 1997 to 2000.
