Gerard Davis

Gerard Davis has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Gerard currently holds the position of Managing Director at Irish Life Health, which they started in 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Irish Life as the Chief Risk Officer from 2016 to 2021. Gerard also served as the Managing Director at Canada Life International Reinsurance from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they held the position of Head of Wealth Management at IBRC Limited from 2010 to 2012. Gerard was the Chief Executive at IBRC Assurance Company from 2005 to 2010. Gerard began their career as an Actuarial Student at Irish Life & Permanent in 1985 and later worked as a Product Development Actuary at Bank of Ireland Life from 1990 to 1998. Gerard's experience also includes working as a Director at Milliman Actuarial Consultants from 1998 to 2005.

Gerard Davis studied at the Institute of Actuaries from 1985 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Actuarial (FIA). Gerard also received education in Financial advice and became a Qualified Financial Adviser at the LIA.
