Cathleen DaCosta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in communications, marketing, and public relations. Cathleen currently serves as the Head of Communications and Partnerships at Iris&Romeo since 2022. Prior to this, Cathleen worked as an Internal Communications Advisor at SOSHE Beauty in 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they held a role in Global Communications at ILIA Beauty. Before that, Cathleen founded "Heroin Is Not Chic" (HINC), an organization focused on raising awareness about the heroin and opiate epidemic in the United States, in partnership with DARE. At Paul Wilmot Communications, they worked as an Account Lead, Luxury from 2015 to 2016. Cathleen also gained experience as the Manager of Global Communications at Reem Acra from 2012 to 2014. Cathleen worked briefly at KCD in 2012 for public relations and events during New York Fashion Week. Prior to that, Cathleen held a public relations role at Prabal Gurung in 2011. Cathleen began their career as a Communications Specialist and Crisis Management professional at the American Red Cross from 2007 to 2010. Cathleen also gained experience as a Marketing and Consumer Relations Paid Intern at hummel from 2004 to 2007.

Cathleen DaCosta began their education at Berklee College of Music in 2006, where they studied voice. Cathleen completed their studies at Berklee College in 2008. In 2008, they then enrolled at Emerson College and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Communication with a focus on Advertising & Public Relations.
