Koen Schauwaert

Koen Schauwaert has worked in the IT field since 2010. Koen began their career as a Computer Repair Technician at Final Soft en Hardware, where they provided weekend help, advising customers, repairing PCs and notebooks, installing software and networking. Koen worked in this role for eight years. In 2018, they began working at Iristick as a Project Manager & Technical Support Engineer and Software Support Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and manufacturing industrial smart glasses to support enterprises in their digital transformation, to empower the deskless workforce of the future through assisted reality, and to help shape & create industry 4.0 & eHealth.

Koen Schauwaert began their educational journey at Reynaert College Hulst in 2008, where they earned a VMBO-T degree. In 2009, they attended Avans University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Economics. Koen then moved to Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg, where they earned two Bachelor's degrees in Physics Teacher Education (2012-2014) and Mathematics Teacher Education (2011-2012). In 2014-2015, Koen attended Syntra Vlaanderen and completed a course in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at AP Hogeschool Antwerpen in 2015-2018.
