Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at iRobot

Varun Malhotra has a diverse range of work experience with various companies and educational institutions. Varun started their career at iRobot in 2019, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead and Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Software Engineer at iRobot from 2019 to 2020.

During their time at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Varun served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Engineering Software Design and mentored undergraduate teaching assistants and students. Varun also gained experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Embedded Systems Design, where they assisted with lab assignments and code development. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Digital Design, leading lab sessions and assisting students with hardware problems.

Varun Malhotra completed their High School education at The Doon School from 2008 to 2013. Varun then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Engineering at the University of Washington from 2013 to 2014. Afterward, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from 2014 to 2017. Continuing their education at the same institution, Varun pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2018 to 2019.
