Yadong Shang

Yadong Shang is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at iRobot since February 2014, Yadong has also held positions as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer within the same organization. Prior to joining iRobot, Yadong worked at Dell from March 2008 to February 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer in both the Equallogic and Unified Storage Division. Early career experiences include a Software Engineer role at Global Protocols, Inc. and a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Maryland, where Yadong earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Yadong holds additional degrees from Tsinghua University, including a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Precision Instruments and Mechanics.
