Sloan Bowman

Sloan Bowman brings over 17 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry and significant expertise leading development of cloud-based, SaaS solutions in healthcare. Sloan is responsible for defining Iron Bridge’s technology architecture and direction and also leads product development. For the past 14 years, Sloan has primarily focused on Enterprise Architecture, product development, open source development, and innovation in SaaS and cloud-based solutions. Mr. Bowman was formerly a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering for Medhost, leading the development of YourCareCommunity, a SaaS Based fully integrated patient portal and interoperability framework. In addition to Medhost, Mr. Bowman has contributed to many open source projects, including lead development on jMaki one of Java’s first Ajax frameworks to provide lightweight models for JavaScript centric web applications. In addition to jMaki, Mr. Bowman has also significantly contributed to Dojo, YUI, and jQuery.
