Robert Bowser

Chairman of the Board at Iron Horse DX

Dr. Bowser developed the protein signatures for both the ALS diagnostic test and the ALS prognostic test. Dr. Bowser has published over 180 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been the recipient of a large number of federal grants for his research. Dr. Bowser is also a professor of Neurology and Neurobiology at the Barrow Neurological Institute and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He is also Director of the Gregory W. Fulton ALS Research Center at the Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Bowser was co-Founder of Knopp Biosciences, a drug development company located in Pittsburgh, PA, and has consulted for a of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Dr. Bowser earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University and Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Yale University.
