Karl Kieffer

Karl Kieffer has over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. Karl began their career in 2007 as a Sr. Consultant at Deloitte, where they led financial and IT audit engagements for a nationwide bank and a large Virginia State Agency. Karl also managed a team that reviewed Ginnie Mae's 400 Issuer’s financial statements and internal controls and provided eligibility, risk and GAAP compliance assessments. In 2014, they joined EY as a Manager and led teams that reviewed a large federal agency's internal controls and audit readiness assessment, as well as performing risk assessments for their Issuance, Monitoring and Securities Divisions. In 2016, Karl joined The Hilltop Companies as a Director, where they developed a three year iterative risk management framework for a federal agency and managed a quarterly and year-end Scorecard Assessment project. Karl also managed a Single Security Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) examination and on-going monitoring governance and operations review project. In 2018, Karl moved to Guidehouse as a Manager. Most recently, Karl has been working at IronArch Technology as a Manager since 2019.

Karl Kieffer obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland between 1985 and 1990. In December 2012, they achieved their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
