Brendan Carpenter

Brendan Carpenter is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and consultancy. As the Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer, and Deputy CEO of Ironbark Asset Management since May 2009, Brendan has played a pivotal role in the firm’s operations. Prior to this, Brendan served as a consultant and Director at Carpe Diem from April 2008 to May 2009, focusing on business and financial services. Brendan's earlier experience includes positions as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO at Aberdeen Asset Management from June 2007 to March 2008, and Chief Operating Officer at Deutsche Asset Management, Australia, from January 2005 to May 2007. Brendan's career also encompasses various leadership roles at Deutsche Asset Management in Europe and Asia Pacific, beginning in February 1998. Brendan is an alumnus of Cranbrook School.
