Mario Alberto Olvera

Mario Alberto Olvera has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Mario Alberto currently holds the position of Head of Consulting at Ironbit - Digital Experiences since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director Comercial | Head at SNGULAR from 2022 to 2023.

From 2017 to 2022, Mario served as a Business Manager at Sngular, where they focused on managing projects, ensuring financial health, and delivering projects on time while maintaining client and team expectations.

Before joining Sngular, Mario worked at Extend Solutions SA de CV as the Gerente Operaciones / Innovation Manager from 2012 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing operations and driving innovation.

From 2007 to 2012, Mario founded their own consultancy firm, O&L Systems S.C., where they specialized in enterprise application development, system integration, and business automation tools.

Mario's earlier work experience includes positions at EDS as a Project & Technical Leader from 2000 to 2007 and as an Information Analyst from 2000 to 2003. Mario Alberto also worked as a Software Developer at Compaq Computer México from 1999 to 2000 and at El Financiero from 1998 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Mario has demonstrated expertise in various areas including consulting, business management, innovation, software development, and project leadership.

In the year 1995, they began their studies at the Universidad Tecnológica de México, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in IT System Engineering. Mario Alberto continued their studies at the same institution until the year 2000, completing their undergraduate degree in IT System Engineering.

After a gap of two years, from 2002 to 2003, Mario pursued a specialization in IT Services and Media Management at the Universidad Tecnológica de México.

In 2021, they attended the IPADE Business School for a short-term program called "Programa Negociación Arte y Ciencia."

Most recently, in 2022, Mario Alberto Olvera enrolled at ThePower Business School for THEPOWERMBA Intensive program.

In addition to their formal education, Mario has also obtained certifications in various fields. In February 2015, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. Later, in October 2019, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
