In 2009, they joined Helmet House, Inc. as a Product Manager, where they tested and developed motorcycle safety apparel and collaborated with Asia sourcing teams and factories. Derek stayed with the company until 2014. Starting from 2014, Derek joined Ironclad Performance Wear, first as a Product Development Manager until 2016, and then as the Director of Product.
