Gilbert Yang

Gilbert Yang is an accomplished Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in various data-focused roles. Currently, Gilbert serves at Ironclad, where responsibilities encompass product, go-to-market, and IT data initiatives since September 2025. Prior to this, Gilbert held a similar position at Zendesk from July 2022 to September 2025, focusing on trust and security data. Gilbert's career began at Beghou Consulting, where roles evolved from Associate Consultant to Senior Data Engineer over a seven-year period, starting in July 2015. Earlier experiences include internships as a Process Engineering Intern at both DuPont Industrial Biosciences and Berkeley Lab in 2014 and 2013, respectively. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
