Yanbo Bai

Yanbo Bai is an accomplished engineer currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer at Ironclad since September 2025, focusing on artificial intelligence. Previously, Yanbo held the title of Principal Software Engineer at Marqeta from September 2023 to September 2025, specializing in core processing. Yanbo's experience at Airbnb from August 2019 to September 2023 included serving as a tech lead in payments instruments and payments risk. Prior to that, Yanbo worked at Google as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2014 to August 2019, where contributions included building a next-generation payments risk system and addressing fraudulent activity across Google’s paid services. Yanbo's career began as an SDE Intern at Microsoft China Co. Ltd in mid-2013. Yanbo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fudan University.
