AJ Dye

AJ Dye is a Partner at Irongate Capital Advisors. AJ has over 15 years of experience in the private equity and venture capital industry.

AJ Dye started their career as a Carolina Venture Fellow at SJF Ventures. AJ then worked as a Consultant at Dunning Capital for 4 months before joining Satori Capital as an MBA Associate. After completing their MBA, AJ Dye worked as an Investment Manager at Delta Electronics Capital for 6 years and 10 months.

In 2005, AJ Dye co-founded Irongate Capital Advisors, a nationally recognized deal-by-deal private equity firm. Today, Irongate serves over 60 families and has made investments in market leading “early growth” technology companies, as well as unique real estate and energy opportunities.

AJ Dye is also a Board Member of SHARE Mobility, Fetch Package, and the Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association. AJ is an External Advisory Board Member of the Wells Fargo / NREL Cleantech Innovation Incubator (IN2) and a Board Observer of TaskEasy and HZO.

AJ Dye has an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a focus in sustainable enterprise and entrepreneurship. AJ also has a BSBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder - Leeds School of Business, with a focus in finance and international business. Additionally, they studied economics and international finance at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.
