Darshil Shah

Darshil Shah MD, MPH is the Director of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers since July 2017, leading a team focused on patient-centered care in gastrointestinal oncology. In addition to being a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist, Darshil Shah serves as clinical faculty at Creighton University School of Medicine and previously held positions including chief fellow at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center and teaching faculty at various institutions. Darshil Shah's research background includes a prospective trial on allogeneic islet transplantation for type I diabetes. Education includes a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan and an MBBS from Gujarat University.
